With an estimate population of 969,603 in Collin County, we can’t reach everyone.
This is why our Community Ambassadors Initiative and cross-sector collaborations are essential to the success of our organization.
WHEN ARE YOUR PROGRAMS AND HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT THEM?
We publish all of our events on our website and Facebook. We also do direct marketing post cards to homeowers in the community.
is CCDC a 501(c)(3)?
CCDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
Fill out the application on the website, choosing the areas in which you’d like to be involved. We’ll get back to you ASAP!
We are looking for “Community Ambassadors” CA’s. to serve in different areas of Collin County.
CA’s are the link to that will partner with the cultural communities, city council members, faith-based groups, and other non-profits in order to promote understanding of their diverse populations.
Each Ambassador works directly with the executive board. Ambassadors bring knowledge of their community, assist in promoting educational events, and seek out opportunities to partner with others groups with similar missions.
HOW DO YOU FIT WITH THE OTHER DIVERSITY GROUPS IN THE AREA?
That’s a constantly evolving process. We partner with some and promote activities of others. We look for groups that have a similar mission. It’s in all our best interests to work together to accomplish our goals.
We are open to collaborating with any Collin County organizations working in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
